Sale of regenerated second-hand barrels
At Barena we make a careful selection of batches of used or second-hand barrels and make them available to our customers with the guarantees offered by our barrel regeneration process.
The BARENA® regeneration method ensures a correct oenological and microbiological state of the batches of second-hand barrels that we put on sale. 3-year-old barrels that, after regeneration, provide a new wood profile to the wines.
Pick the barrels of your choice
We offer you used barrels from the most prestigious chateaux. Used barrels are carefully selected and accepted only if they pass our exhaustive quality controls (Brett, TCA, cracks, breaks…).
These second-hand barrels are produced by prestigious cooperages. With usage, these barrels lose the cooper’s personal character. The regeneration of BARENA® barrels allows a reactivation of the basic functions of the barrels.
We reactivate wood aromas, increase micro-oxygenation and eliminate adverse microbiology from the barrels that we make available to you. Regenerated used or second-hand barrels are kept in perfect conditions of humidity and asepticity.
